ANBHOF keeps the memories of Australia's boxing legends alive.

Our aim is to honor our present and past boxing heroes, and to continue to display our boxing memorabilia of our glorious history to the public via our showcase at the National Sports Museum at the MCG.

Welcome aboard Grant “Tassie” Brown for 2027.
Grant was that impressed with the Induction ceremony that he has pledged $5000 to kick start next year’s event.
Grant and his BBB PROMOTIONS are a welcome new sponsor for the ANBHOF. This year was an amazing event, and with the support of our new sponsors, next year will be even better!

It was lovely to have our Veterans Inductee, Allen Williams, son Ray and daughter Janine there to accept their dad’s Induction.

Hearing stories about Allen, you could see how much they loved their dad and so proud of his Induction.

Was great to have Commonwealth Games Silver medalist, Jacob Cassar, as a special guest.

Jacob talked about his road to the games and what is coming up next. We look forward to watching Jacob’s career.

Scott Brouwer receiving the Gus Mecurio Services to Boxing Award. Great to hear his story and involvement in boxing over a number of decades. One of the nicest guys in boxing.

Vale to our 2009 Veterans Inductee, Clive Stewart, passing away at the age of 89.

Clive Stewart was a highly respected Australian professional boxer who established himself as one of the country’s leading fighters during the 1950s and 1960s. Competing primarily at middleweight, Stewart built an impressive professional record of 64 wins from 79 bouts, with 13 losses and 2 draws.

Stewart captured the Australian Middleweight Championship in 1958, holding the title until 1960, and later challenged for major Australasian honours after moving up in weight. His career included victories over a number of accomplished fighters and saw him compete throughout Australia and New Zealand.

We send our thoughts to Clive’s loved ones.

Former World Champ, Current World Champ and Future World champ, along with Commonwealth games coach.

We are saddened to hear former Heavyweight Colin “Kid Coalminer” Wilson has passed away.

Wilson won the Australian Heavyweight title multiple times between 1997 - 2010. Also winning the Queensland State Cruiserweight, Queensland Heavyweight, WBO Asia Pacific Heavyweight and OPBF Heavyweight titles.

Having a pretty unique story, Wilson was part of the Fred Brophy Boxing Tent. A famous boxing troupe, known for being the last travelling boxing tent.

Wilson stepped in the ring with some of the Heavyweight greats, including Khali Meehan, Bob Mirovic, Solomon Haumono, Alex Leapai and hall of Famer, Joe Bugner.

We send out our thoughts to Colin’s family and friends.
