Some pics of successful repairs at our repair cafe on the weekend!

Lots of textiles and clothing this time around as well as radios and lamps.

Repairers also fixed a range of other things including a door bell, stick blender, dog toy and typewriter. All up we fixed 26 items weighing in at just over 40kg.

Big thank you to our volunteer repairers for sharing their time and skills :)

Our next repair event is happening on July 4 - send us an email or call us to make a time to book something in - [email protected] or 9398 2511

Thanks to Hobsons Bay Community Fund for their support of this program!

Welcome to Country & Afternoon Tea
Saturday 20 June 1 - 2.30pm

Have you been present for a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony?
Here is a wonderful opportunity, taking place in our front yard. Come along!
Expand knowledge, understanding and connection through ceremony guided by traditional custodians of the lands and waters of Hobsons Bay, the Bunurong people, followed by an afternoon tea.
RSVP 9398 2511 or [email protected] by Wednesday 17 June.

You CAN ask that!
Do you have a burning question that you have wanted to ask of a First Nations person?
Jillian West is a proud Palawa woman from the Islands of Bass Strait and proud Bunurong woman from Point Nepean and was born in Williamstown. Throughout a lengthy career supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in work, education, and support in their life journey, Jillian continues to increase knowledge and understanding across communities.
We invite questions to be submitted to [email protected] by Friday 19 June for Jillian to answer following afternoon tea on Saturday.

This event is supported by Hobsons Bay City Council's Make it Happen Grants and Network West.
