Directions Website Contact the organization

QLD Guinea Pig Refuge is a not for profit organisation, dedicated to helping mistreated, abused and no longer wanted guinea pigs in need.

We don't have an actual shelter. All our guinea pigs live on foster carer throughout Brisbane. We hire out the local Scout Den on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month to hold our Open Days

If you are looking to adopt, you must fill out an adoption form 48 hours before Open Day.

If you were to ask a guinea pig this question, they’d tell you the way to their heart is through snacks.

I’ll try my luck at using my words fist, though. 🗣️ 🐹

CALENDARS!! 📆

If you've been following Qld Guinea Pig Refuge for a while, you will know that every year we release a calendar featuring photos of our supporters' own beautiful piggies. This year we decided to repay some of our wonderful volunteer team with photos of their personal and foster guinea pigs. Proceeds from sales of our calendar helps us to raise funds to continue providing the best care for guinea pigs in need.

We're very proud of our beautiful 2027 calendar. Photos were take by Cinnamon from crs_photography_acc and then the calendar is put together by a volunteer, and we're sure you will love it too! They also make great Christmas presents, the gift that gives twice.

You can purchase your copy on the website: https://qldguineapigrefuge.com.au/shop-1 , and have it posted to you (within Australia) or you can collect your copy from our open days at Albany Creek - next open day is 7th November. Our calendar is available in limited quantities so be sure to order quickly so you don't miss out!

For international shipping, please email us directly at [email protected] to receive a shipping quote. 🐹❤️

❤️ AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ❤️
👑 Meet Princess, Abey & Charlie! 👑

These three lovely ladies are on the search for a forever home together! ❤️

Princess, Abby and Charlie are still a little shy and will need a family who is happy to give them time to settle in and build their confidence. They have beautiful, sweet natures and are simply looking for a home where they can feel safe, loved and spoilt.

Due to their shy personalities, they may not be the best fit for families with very young children, but with a little patience and plenty of love, these girls have so much to offer.

Could you open your heart and home to these three gorgeous sisters? They would love to find their happily ever after together! 🐹

To apply for these girls please go to the following link and complete an adoption form. https://qldguineapigrefuge.com.au/adopt
