The Virtuous Samaritan Foundation was founded in 2012, by a visionary who had the elimination of social evils in society such as crime, prostitution, drug abuse and alcoholism.These evils are normally "escape vices" to poverty by the disadvantaged and less priviledged in society.The Foundation aims to to empower the spiritually weak with the gospel of Jesus Christ while also teaching them economic
ways of sustainable living, through empowerment training programs and projects for widows, orphans, street kids, the aged, refugees etc.Guided by the laws of each country The VS Foundation 360 seeks to open doors of hope to a peaceful and happy future where hope previously never existed.Isaiah 61 v1 "The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners".Through the gospel of Jesus Christ the Foundation provides a spiritual rehabilitation to the spiritually broken, emotionally abused by life circumstances and atrocities such as war.Through the gospel it brings solution to millions in the world today who are mentally, spiritually and emotionally torn by the effects drug addiction, alcoholism, poverty.Hebrews 4 v 12, "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart".For the gospel of Jesus is a sword that cuts through every social vice and provides comfort to it's victims, the Foundation reaches out to a network across the world of orphanage homes, widows, the elderly and sick, refugees in camps.The objective of the VS Foundation 360 is to turn every scar into a star, according to Matthew 5 v 14, "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden".We also work with other orphanages, old people's homes, support refugee camps, public and private prisons.Guided by the applicable laws of each nation or state we work in the strict confines of the law worldwide.Through educational christian based training programs we empower widows on self sustainance projects and also source funding, we identify areas in countries depsrately needing school educational facilities and source funding, we also source funding to support other orphanages and projects supporting the less priviedged as well as rehabilation projects : drug, prostitution counselling, human trafficking victims rehabilitation, prison christian rehabilitation based counselling.We also develop and support orphans financially with their education but guided by christian based counselling programs.A Christian Charity based Organization seeking to offer the needy the much needed fresh start everybody needs and deserves under disadvantaged circumstances.A stride for a spirited fight for human dignity and a second chance to the less privilidged in society.Through its projects, The VS Foundation also focuses on the main work areas that affect the well-being of the society: Poverty, Education, Health Care, Juvenile Justice, Child Care/Child Protection, Parental Nurture, Child Advocacy (Public Policy) and Immigration. Out of these work areas, The VS Foundation advocates on behalf of society as a humanitarian organization in Zimbabwe and Africa at the services level and at the policy level by engaging communities in helping the needy, vulnerable, weak, exploited and less priviledged.It also cordinates volunteer programs for global cross cultural exchange in the main fields of education, health, business support, philanthropy, christian ministry, investment and wealth creation by inviting volunteer professionals and experts to impart skills diversity and development for sustainance and community economic development and growth.
