All about keeping Victoria Falls City clean

28/08/2026

A beautiful ecosystem can be affected by a single piece of litter. 🌿💧

The plastic bottle floating among the water lilies is a reminder that waste does not disappear—it can find its way into our waterways and natural habitats.

Plastic pollution can harm aquatic life, disrupt fragile ecosystems, and reduce the beauty and health of our rivers and wetlands. What may seem like a small piece of litter can have a lasting impact on the environment.

Protecting Victoria Falls means protecting every part of our natural world. Dispose of waste responsibly and help us keep our environment pristine.

Not all clean-up challenges are the same. Some areas require extra attention due to illegal dumping and the impact it has on our environment.

The Hit Squad takes on these difficult “crime scenes”—clearing waste, restoring affected areas, and helping protect the beauty of Victoria Falls.

Through action, accountability, and dedication, they are helping create a cleaner, healthier city for everyone.

Every clean-up effort brings us one step closer to the Victoria Falls we all want to see. 🌿💚

A heartfelt thank you to the Africa Travel and Tours team for their incredible support during our clean-up along Miles Road. With 22 staff members taking part, the team collected 6 bags of litter, demonstrating the power of collective action and community responsibility.

Together, we're creating cleaner streets, protecting our environment, and preserving the beauty of Victoria Falls for residents and visitors alike.

Let's continue working together to keep Victoria Falls pristine—one clean-up at a time.

A pristine city is more than just beautiful—it creates opportunities, inspires pride, and leaves a lasting impression.

In Victoria Falls, every clean street, public space, and natural area helps preserve the destination we all love. It creates a welcoming environment for residents, enhances every visitor's experience, and supports the growth of local businesses and tourism.

Together, we all have a role to play. Every piece of litter picked up, every bin used, and every effort to keep our surroundings clean helps protect the beauty and future of Victoria Falls.

Let's keep Victoria Falls pristine—for our community, our visitors, and generations to come. 🌿✨

Happy World Elephant Day! 🐘

Today, we celebrate the magnificent elephants that are an important part of the natural heritage surrounding Victoria Falls.

Protecting these incredible giants starts with protecting the wild spaces they depend on. By keeping our environment clean, respecting wildlife and caring for our natural surroundings, we all play a part in preserving a healthier home for elephants and other wildlife. 🌿💚

A pristine environment means a better future for wildlife. 🐘🌍

Dumping waste in undesignated areas doesn’t just harm the beauty of our communities — it puts wildlife, our environment, and public health at risk.

Help protect Victoria Falls by using approved waste collection points and supporting responsible waste disposal initiatives. Every person has a role to play in keeping our town clean and safe.

Dispose responsibly. Protect our environment. 💚
