✨ New Year Message from TGSCCC ✨

As we step into a new year, we would like to take a moment to thank everyone who continues to stand with the TG Silundika Cultural Community Centre.

To our supporters, donors, volunteers, partners, and friends — from near and far — your trust, encouragement, and belief in our work remain the foundation of everything we do. We are deeply grateful for your continued support.

The past year was a significant one for TGSCCC as we marked 10 years of serving community, culture, and heritage. It was a milestone that invited both celebration and reflection. Alongside these achievements, we also faced challenges beyond our control — including circumstances such as severe weather that affected planned end-of-year activities. While not everything unfolded as hoped, these moments reminded us of the importance of resilience, adaptability, and collective strength.

What remains unchanged is our commitment. We continue to move forward with determination, learning from challenges and strengthening our foundations. The new year brings renewed energy, fresh perspective, and a continued focus on preserving culture, empowering communities, and creating meaningful opportunities.

As we begin this new chapter, we do so with gratitude, hope, and confidence in the journey ahead — together.

From all of us at the TG Silundika Cultural Community Centre, we wish you a peaceful, healthy, and successful New Year.

With sincere thanks,
Tina & Felix

Miss TiBaKalanga 2025–2026 Village Competition Update
✨ “A Crown You Live — A Culture You Carry.” ✨

The Road to Miss TiBaKalanga 2026 has officially begun — and what an inspiring start it was!
This past weekend, the TG Silundika Cultural Community Centre hosted a vibrant series of activities celebrating creativity, culture, and confidence among young women from across the Kalanga region.

The following day, three villages — Jutshume, Mbimba, and Nsubula — came together for a joyful and colourful Miss TiBaKalanga Village Competition at the SaNoe & NaNoe Homestead (Ndoi).

The event highlighted the beauty of Kalanga culture, from traditional attire and song to the heartfelt confidence of each contestant.
The judges had a difficult task, but three outstanding young women were crowned as the first Queens of the 2025–2026 journey.

🌺 Congratulations to Our New Village Queens and Princesses!

🏵️ Miss Jutshume
👑 Queen: Wandile Sibanda
👸 1st Princess: Sibahle Ndlovu
🌸 2nd Princess: Thina Nkomo

🏵️ Miss Mbimba
👑 Queen: Nomvula Moyo
👸 1st Princess: Mbalenhle Moyo
🌸 2nd Princess: Patience Moyo

🏵️ Miss Nsubula
👑 Queen: Anele Ncube
👸 1st Princess: Isabel Dube
🌸 2nd Princess: Melisa Thebe

🌿 Looking Ahead
The newly crowned Queens will soon take part in the Queens for Dignity Ambassador Programme, where they will use their voices and leadership to support workshops at the TGSCCC — promoting dignity, health, and empowerment among women and girls in their villages.

As Nkosi Nkomo reminded everyone,
“A crown is not just something you wear — it’s something you live.”

This event marks a powerful beginning for the 2025–2026 Road to Miss TiBaKalanga — one that celebrates not only beauty, but also purpose, unity, and the enduring strength of Kalanga women.
