This International Womenโs Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and leadership of women and girls who continue to transform our communities.
Over the years, YES Trust Zimbabwe has worked alongside communities to advance gender equality, promote sexual and reproductive health and rights, and challenge harmful norms that affect women and girls. Through initiatives such as the AGYW Care+ (Save Them Young) Programme, Spotlight Initiative and others through awareness roadshows, community dialogues, youth-led advocacy, edutainment campaigns, and creative platforms like film competitions, we have empowered adolescent girls and young women to take charge of their health, voices, and futures. ๏ฟผ
From strengthening access to HIV prevention information and services to creating safe spaces for dialogue and community accountability, the journey continues. Together with partners, communities, and young leaders, we remain committed to building a society where every woman and girl can live free from violence, access opportunities, and fully realize her potential.
Because when women and girls are empowered, communities thrive.
