Today, November 11th, marks a special day for Mukadzi Munhuwo. We are thrilled to celebrate not one, but TWO milestones. We are celebrating our Founder's amazing mother's Nancy Mbaura birthday and Mukadzi Munhuwo's 6th Anniversary.

Our Founder's mother is the inspiration behind our organization's mission to Empower Women, reduce Poverty, prevent and respond to GBV and promote Equality. Her love, guidance and strength have shaped our Founder's vision and dedication to creating positive change.

Six years ago, our Founder Prudence Mbaura Prudence She Defender turned pain into purpose and established Mukadzi Munhuwo in honor of her mother's birthday.

Today, we celebrate the resilience and determination of our beneficiaries, the unwavering support of our partners, donors, and volunteers and the tireless efforts of our team.

Thank you to our Founder's mother for being a shining example of strength, love, and inspiration.

Join us as we celebrate this milestone

The partnership includes notable organizations such as the , , and the Republic Police, among others. This collaboration demonstrates a united front against gender-based violence and a commitment to creating a safer, more equitable society for all.

The 16 Days of Activism campaign is a global initiative that runs from November 25 to December 10, aiming to eliminate violence against women and girls. This year’s theme, “UNITE!
