The end of an era...

Tonight we closed the doors on Kids Club for the last time. Myself, Carole, Julie, and Joanne would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported us for too long to mention its been a blast but as the saying goes all good things must come to an end.

New Hartley Kids Club has been running for onwards and upwards of 40 years, we have cared for many, many children and young people in this time. We have made amazing memories with our trips, weekend residentials and stayawakes alongside our regular Wednesday evenings.

As the saying goes all good things must come to an end and unfortunately with a heavy heart I would like to let you know that as of Wednesday the 1st April we will be closing the doors for the last time. This is not a decision that we have taken lightly but due to continuing diminishing numbers we cant afford to keep running at a loss, which we have been doing since March 2025.

We would like to thank everyone for their support over the last 40+ years and hope you have fond memories of New Hartley Kids Club.

Lovely to see New Hartley Residents club hosting what looked like a fantastic night for the Kids in the village for Halloween, its coming to the point that if we don't get that kind of support from the village we will be closing at Christmas.

Kids has been running for over 50 years and this would be a shame to close for the lack of support. We as a team of 4 volunteer our time week in and week out to provide a much needed service use it or lose it

Don't really want to say the C*******s word but its creeping up at an amazing speed and we have a table at the Christmas Fayre on the 29th November!!

We are hoping you can help with our fundraising efforts and if you have any teddies or tombola prizes you would like to donate they would be greatly appreciated.
As people know we rely on your help to keep us running through your kind donations and support, as we are still low on numbers we are barely making ends meet so every little bit helps xx

Well that's the end of the summer hols, Kids Club will restart on Wednesday 10th September 6:15-8pm.
Any children who have joined reception class are welcome to join us for a free taster session on the 10th.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Kids Club will now be closed until Wednesday 10th September.
This is not a decision we as a team of volunteers have taken lightly but we have been running at a loss since March, as the summer approaches we hope you all have a wonderful time and hope to see you all in September.

Any parents of children who will be moving into reception class are welcome to contact myself through the page or on WhatsApp for any information about Kids Club Helen xx

Just wondering where all of our children have gone? We have gone from a steady 20-25 children weekly to 6-8 if we are lucky. Please could you let me know, any feedback would be gratefully recieved Helen x
