Land degradation is often visible through soil erosion, and one of the most noticeable forms is gully erosion.

Gullies are deep channels formed when runoff removes soil, often caused by poor land management practices such as damaged contours, overgrazing, poorly designed roads, and uncontrolled stormwater discharge.

Understanding the causes of gullies is the first step toward protecting our soils, safeguarding agricultural land, and maintaining healthy ecosystems.

The team had the activity titled Promoting Interface and Engagement Between Young people, Health Centers Committees and Councilors for improved Service Delivery and Advocacy. The purpose was to foster engagement between young people and the Health Center Committees for improved health related decision making.
