This month, Psychotherapy Care & Counselling Services stands with everyone affected by breast cancer. 💗

We send love, strength and hope to those bravely fighting, those who have survived and are thriving, those caring for loved ones, those facing fear, and those grieving a loss.

Creating Awareness. Supporting Recovery. Building Hope.

We had the privilege of attending the ZEAC Workshop, where we shared on substance abuse, its effects, and the important role churches can play in supporting individuals and families affected by addiction.

We reached out to representatives from the 7 ZEAC districts. Educational pamphlets and PCCS flyers to help extend awareness and support to communities across the different districts were also distributed.

A special highlight was a powerful testimony that reminded us that recovery is possible and that with the right support, hope can be restored.

Together, we continue to promote awareness, strengthen support, and create safe, non-judgmental spaces for recovery.

SEPTEMBER IS SU***DE PREVENTION MONTH

This September, let’s remind one another that hope is possible, help is available, and no one has to face their struggles alone.

Sometimes, a simple conversation, a listening ear, or reaching out can make a difference. 🫂

Check on someone. Listen without judgement. Speak with kindness. Encourage help.

Let’s work together to create a community where people feel safe to speak, supported to seek help, and reminded that their life matters.

💛 Be the reason someone chooses hope today.

Promoting Mental Health & Wellbeing

On Saturday, PCCS had the opportunity to attend the Presbyterian Women’s Conference in Chigodora, engaging approximately 90 women from the Mutare District, together with youths and other community members.

We shared on mental health, self-care for women, and substance abuse, highlighting the importance of caring for our mental and emotional wellbeing and supporting loved ones through addiction and recovery. 💚

We also distributed PCCS flyers and shared information about our counselling, mental health, addiction recovery, and community services.

Together, let’s continue creating healthier, more supportive communities. 🌱
