Green World Environmental & Forestry Conservation (GWEFC) is a non-profit organization formulated on the 20th of December 2011 and registered under the Zimbabwe Youth Council Act (Chapter 25:19) with Registration number PA056/0312. The organization seeks to create a network for environmental and forestry conservation through awareness campaigns, forestry re-generations, research projects and suppo

rt for environmental protection and environmental friendly income generating projects in the urban and rural communities. It is a youth driven organization in Manicaland Province Zimbabwe that's focusing on environmental and forestry conservation. Zimbabwe together with the rest of the world marked the International Day for Biological Diversity (IBD) on 22 May. This day is celebrated at a time when the country faces serious threats to species diversity and to ecosystems. These activities caused by human activities remain worrying and are continuing at an alarming rate. The indiscriminate tree cutting, illegal gold panning, illegal sand mining and the ever-destructive veldt fires continue to rob the country of its richness in biological diversity, an essential feature of the transition to sustainable development. As a result to caution or provide a solution to the gap has brought the vision and the mission of Green World Environmental and Forestry Conservation (GWEFC)
