Friends of the Vumba Friends of the Vumba (FOTV) Trust has a constitution & a trustee board. We employ 5 scouts who patrol for all illegal activities within our environment.

Please come and join us for this month's Vumba Walk. Scheduled to ascend one of our favourite mountains but this month with a new host.
For the extra fit and energetic there is an additional and rewarding challenge! Regardless of which route you choose, make sure to bring along your best hiking boots, lots of walk snacks and plenty water. Plus the usual binoculars and cameras for spectacular views. Walking sticks too - for the steep ascent and descent.
Date: SUNDAY 11th Oct
Time: gather at 8:30am for a prompt start at 9am, we cannot wait if you are late. Finish around 12:30 - 1pm.
Cost: US$10 pp, US$5 for students and pensioners, Children U/12 free. FOTV Walking Members FREE
You are invited to stay afterwards in our beautiful mountains to braai or picnic - make sure to bring your own drinks, plus picnic or braai stuff

The monthly Vumba Walk is on Sunday 13th September - Spring time!
Not sure if we'll be treated to spectacular new Msasa bloom but we're taking you into them just in case.
Date: Sunday 13th Sept 2026
Time: meet at 8:30 to start promptly at 9 (we can't wait for anyone late). Finish around 12:30 depending on round the journey back!
Cost: US$10 pp; US$5 p student or pensioner, U/12 free. FOTV Walking Members Free
You are also welcome to stay and linger a while afterwards with your picnic or braai. Bring your own drinks and food.

What a fabulous day we had at the annual Vumba Fair! The weather turned from a cold misty morning to full sunshine and we were busy with such a wonderful vairety of people from 9am to closing at 5.
Thank you once again for everyone's support!
