Friends of the Vumba Friends of the Vumba (FOTV) Trust has a constitution & a trustee board. We employ 5 scouts who patrol for all illegal activities within our environment.

We utilize conservation & education for a future where humans live in harmony with the environment.

The theme this year is "Let's Go Green Creatively".
Do you think you can win the prize the best hat of the day embracing this theme?

Dear Friends of the Vumba
You are all invited to come and walk with us into the mountains of Lower Vumba.
As always you will be entertained with beautiful views, this time across the valley of Mutare and Mozambique as you walk through the miombo woodlands, encountering lovely ravines and streams.

You are all welcome to bring your own braai and picnic with drinks to stay a little longer. The braai fires will be lit in the lawned area under the shade of the trees alongside a lovely stream flowing through the property.

Date: Saturday 15th August
Time: 8:30 registration to start sharp at 9am.
Duration: 3 hours with a half hour break, so make sure to bring snacks
Cost: US$10 pp, US$5 students and pensioners, Children U/12 free, FOTV Walking members FREE
Bring: Good hiking boots, water bottle, snacks, hat, sunscreen, camera, binoculars

RSVP: to register (max 30 people) and to obtain directions please contact Sally 071 220 7828 AFTER 10th August as she is currently walking the Blue Cross, but before 13th August as the cutoff date
