Happy Father's Day! πŸ’™

Today, we honour fathers and father figures whose love is shown not just in words, but in presence, guidance and quiet strength. Your care shapes families, builds futures and leaves a lasting legacy in every child you support.

πŸ“ Mark 2:13–14

β€œFollow me.”

As Jesus walked by, he noticed Levi where he was and invited him to follow. That simple invitation changed the course of Levi’s life.

It reminds us that sometimes one moment, one invitation, or one act of believing in someone can open the door to a new beginning.

Every child deserves the chance to laugh, play, learn, and grow with dignity.

But for too many children, especially children with disabilities, something as basic as clean water, safe sanitation and good hygiene can be the difference between thriving and being left behind.

This Day of the African Child, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to grow up healthy, included and supported. At Nzeve, we believe that when children have access to essential services, early intervention and inclusive care, they are given the best possible start in life.

Together, we can build communities where every child belongs and every child can reach their full potential.

| Empowering Deaf Voices

Members of the Mutambara Deaf Club in Chimanimani recently participated in a Deaf Advocacy Training Workshop facilitated by Nzeve under the Early Intervention, Advocacy and Community Impact Project.

Together, we are strengthening the capacity of Deaf individuals to advocate for their rights, promoting inclusion and advancing meaningful participation in their communities.

πŸ“ Mark 2:8–12

β€œGet up, take your mat and go home.”

The man’s friends refused to let the crowd stand in their way. They found another way to get him to Jesus, showing how much they cared and believed things could change. It reminds us of the power of not giving up, the value of supportive community and how people can help one another overcome barriers.

Nzeve was honoured to be part of the Masana wa Afrika Early Childhood Development Conference, joining practitioners, advocates and community organizations from across Africa in important conversations on strengthening ECD systems and support for children and families.

The conference highlighted the importance of early intervention, responsive caregiving, disability inclusion, caregiver support and community-driven approaches in ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.

We are inspired by the shared commitment to building inclusive and nurturing environments for children across the continent.
