The Muscular Dystrophy Centren re-opened yesterday. Boys have begun to drop in. Thanks to everyone who made it to happen.

Mount Olive Muscular Dystrophy Centre is the only facility in Zimbabwe which helps children with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The Centre offers physiotherapy, palliative care, assistive breathing facilities and education to 38 resident patients. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic the centre was temporarily closed.

Since the closure of the Centre 12 boys have succumbed to the disease and several others are deteriorating.

Help re-open the Centre. It costs $125 per month to cater for each patient.
