Please help these kids with computers.

Hi there, we are Zimbabwe ICT and Vocational Education Funding (Zim ICT & VEF), a registered private Voluntary Organisation, Reg No. PVO43/21. We visited Mavhiza Primary School on 20 July 2022 in Manicaland Province. The school has an enrolment of 450 students. It is located some 100km away to the west of Mutare City. The area is remote, located far into the mountains and reachable only by a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Poverty pervades. The villagers live a spare, need-filled life. However, they have learned the value of education and encouraged their children to learn.
The school provides hope and opportunity for children to escape from the slum and cycles of poverty. We have discovered that there are no computers at the school. Yet, with the updated Curriculum introduced by the Ministry of Primary and secondary education in Zimbabwe, ICT skills are a significant component. Grade seven results can now be viewed online.
Computers will allow these most deprived children the same opportunities to access educational resources as their counterparts at well-resourced schools. Teachers are mainly relying on the traditional talk and chalk mode of delivery.
The government built the school but offered very little to no support afterwards. From the discussion we had with Mavhiza primary school teachers, they specified that the school administration needs an essential requirement for keeping enrolment figures, typing and performing other administrative functions.
Can you help us by donating to buy computers for the school, please? The project is estimated to cost $5000. Our goal is to buy a minimum of 12 computers. We are also accepting second-hand electrical gadgets like computers, laptops, Flat TVs, Wifi cable routers or Wireless cameras, tablet phones, cellular phones and Ipads. Please reach into your hearts and pockets and donate to this worthy cause. Whatever donations we can get will be appreciated.

Thank you for your interest and support.
