Today marks a big step forward for our local community garden under the Zimbabwe Homeless People’s Federation. Through the power of *solar energy* and a new *borehole*, our disabled, poor, and orphaned community members now have access to clean, reliable water — right where they need it.No more long walks. No more struggle. Just growth, dignity, and hope. Together we rise. Together we build.

29th July 2025 in Kasese, Kariba — pain was real.
Thirteen years after stands were sold,
no homes, no clear permission — just silence.
People built shutters to survive,
to shelter their families while they waited.
But instead of answers, they got demolition.
Structures destroyed. Hope crushed.
Is this what the people deserve after all these years? Kasese deserves more than broken promises.
Now, after all these years, the council returns —
Not with solutions, but with destruction.
Structures torn down. Lives disrupted.
Is this justice? Is this leadership?
Kariba deserves better. Our people deserve dignity."

Good Afternoon - as we all know every first Friday of the month it's clean up campaign day in our country Zimbabwe, however as KYC TV we found it possible to seek permission to the Municipality of Kariba to be part and parcel of the program starting from today onwards .....So the KYCTV team in Kariba captured every activity of today's program and we had made some short videos of interviews concerning climate change in Kariba .......we are happy to be working with Municipality of Kariba and they are also promising to involve us on upcoming programs .....stay tuned for more.......
