📸 Day 2 Highlights – Building Momentum!

What an exceptional Day 2 at the 12th Annual ASZ Convention 2026. Delegates were challenged to rethink the future of the profession through Roderick Simbanegavi's presentation,“The Actuary and the Algorithm: From Tool User to Decision Architect.” This was followed by an insightful session on Medical Aid: Risk-Based Solvency Framework & IPEC Regulation Under ZICARP by Felicia Mhlanga, Tinashe Tafirei, and Godfrey Mashamba, offering valuable perspectives on the evolving healthcare and regulatory landscape. The morning continued with Imran Muhamed's presentation on ASSA Coaching & Mentorship: Lessons for the ASZ, before Christopher Rudzuna inspired delegates with“Broadening Boundaries: The Imperfect Philosophy of Being Perfect.” As we look back on the moments leading up to the Panel Discussion on the Actuaries Bill, the conversations, insights, and connections have truly reflected this year's theme: Expanding Horizons.
