We left as girls, we returned as change makers 🌍
Coming back from exchange in different countries was more than just a trip, it was a transformation.
This Friday we gathered for our welcoming ceremony to share the projects we led, the lessons we learnt, and the impact we made abroad.
Different countries, one mission: to lead, to serve, and to inspire.
Grateful for the opportunity, the sisterhood, and the chance to bring global ideas home 🇿🇼

Yesterday, the Girl Guide Association of Zimbabwe hosted a beautiful farewell for us, the YESS 2026 participants.

It was a very special moment filled with joy, gratitude and emotions. We received thoughtful gifts, kind words and warm wishes as we prepare to begin the next chapter of our journey.

A heartfelt thank you to the Girl Guide Association of Zimbabwe for welcoming us, supporting us and making our exchange so meaningful and unforgettable. 🇿🇼

We leave with grateful hearts, beautiful memories and a stronger bond of sisterhood.

Thank you for everything. We will carry these memories with us wherever we go

We were given targets, faced challenges, but never let the obstacles define our journey. We pushed beyond expectations, showed up, and made sure to leave our footprints through the work we did.

We came, we saw, we conquered! 🌍✨
Here’s to the impact, the lessons, the memories, and the difference we made along the way. ❤️

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy! ❤️

We took some time to pause, have fun, and embrace every beautiful moment of our exchange experience in Zimbabwe. Beyond the learning, the projects, and the responsibilities, we believed in making memories, enjoying each other’s company, and living fully in the moment.

Because there is a reason we are here. Above all, it is our honour to try, our privilege to learn, and our duty to love. ❤️🇿🇼✨

Here’s to friendship, laughter, unforgettable memories, and making the most of every moment! 🥂❤️

YESS 2026 | My Professional Footprint 🌍

My YESS journey has been an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the Girl Guides Association of Zimbabwe while growing professionally through membership recruitment and retention, engagement, communication, data management and programme development.

One of my highlights was introducing Grand Jeux, an inter-school competition promoting learning, teamwork, participation and membership retention. I am proud to have successfully implemented its first edition.

This experience taught me that true professional impact goes beyond completing responsibilities—it is about bringing ideas, creating value and leaving a meaningful footprint. 🌹

From learning to creating, and from creating to earning! ✨🎨💄

My PDVP journey in Cosmetology & SFX Makeup helped me turn my creativity into a practical skill. From my first steps to face transformations and character creations, every practice brought me closer to my dream of working in film and combining makeup + graphic design in my creative journey. 🎬✨

This is more than a skill. It’s a future I’m building. 💫
