Strategic Leadership in Action

A powerful articulation of our strategic direction. Rural transformation requires more than intention — it demands structure, accountability, and meaningful partnerships. This collaboration reflects our commitment to building sustainable, inclusive local economies anchored in agri-entrepreneurship. Thank you for your clear, focused leadership in advancing this vision.

Maheu Feeding Programme Update

Our feeding intervention continues to make a measurable difference. By addressing the challenges associated with hot seating, afternoon session learners now receive maheu before lessons begin — ensuring they start class nourished, focused, and ready to learn.

The results are evident: improved concentration, increased energy levels, stronger classroom engagement, and better attendance. The programme is contributing meaningfully to student learning readiness and overall academic performance. This is how we strengthen foundations for long-term impact.

A JOURNEY OF HOPE, RESILIENCE AND PURPOSE.

The following is a testimonial from one of the Adam Molai Foundation Scholarship beneficiaries. Jephiel-Junior’s story is a reminder of what becomes possible when hope is restored and opportunity meets determination.

My name is Jephiel-Junior Munyaradzi Sithole, a proud beneficiary of the Adam Molai Foundation Scholarship Fund. My academic journey began in 2014 at Waddilove High School. By 2019, I was among the top Advanced Level students. However, due to financial constraints after my father’s retirement, I was unable to proceed to university. I moved to Glen-Norah in Harare and worked at my uncle’s grinding mill to help support my family, slowly convincing myself that my dream of higher education might not happen.

In 2020, I received a life-changing call from the Foundation inviting me for a scholarship interview. It was a turning point — hope restored and my parents’ prayers answered. The Foundation fully funded my studies at Rhodes University, where I completed my Honours Degree in Financial Accounting. I was honoured to receive several academic awards, including Best Advanced Financial Accounting Student, Best Advanced Management Accounting and Finance Student, and Best Honours Student for the 2024 academic year.

Today, I work in the finance division of a Dutch company. I remain deeply grateful for the opportunity that changed the course of my life.

Today, we celebrate the energy, vision, and determination of Zimbabwe’s youth under the 2026 theme, “Youth Agenda for Transformation.”

We believe young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow — they are the change-makers of today. Through education, innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital empowerment, we remain committed to equipping youth with the tools and opportunities they need to transform communities and drive sustainable national development.

Together, we are unlocking potential, building resilience, and shaping a future defined by purpose and progress. 🇿🇼

As the Foundation continues to champion local vendors as catalysts for community transformation, our recent monitoring and evaluation session in Makoni District, held in collaboration with the Ministry of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises, reaffirmed our commitment to strengthening record-keeping, accountability, and sustainable growth for small businesses.

When we build the capacity of our vendors, we build the future of our communities.

Transforming Education Through Technology and Partnership

Ministry of Primary & Secondary Education, Zimbabwe is taking significant steps toward enhancing education in Zimbabwe. Recently, the Ministry signed Memoranda of Understanding with three organisations: Adam Molai Foundation, Dorothy Duncan Centre for the Blind and Physically Handicapped and Vision Ability Zimbabwe.

As Adam Molai Foundation, we are committed to equipping schools with functional ICT infrastructure, including computers, reliable internet connectivity, and solar-powered energy systems to ensure sustainable access to technology. Beyond infrastructure, we will introduce structured entrepreneurship education programmes designed to nurture innovation, problem-solving, and income-generating skills among learners.

We strongly believe that schools must become centres of innovation and enterprise, where technology enhances learning, builds confidence, and prepares pupils for a rapidly evolving digital economy. Our focus remains on practical, sustainable solutions that empower schools, strengthen communities, and ensure no learner is left behind.

Leaving No One Behind

There was a time when some rural classrooms in Zimbabwe ended at the chalkboard.

No electricity.
No internet.
No computers.

Just potential — waiting.

Then something shifted.

Through its ICTs and Entrepreneurship Programme, the Adam Molai Foundation brought more than equipment. It brought possibility. In 2025, 50 full desktop computer sets, solar power systems, and Starlink connectivity were installed across six schools — turning dark classrooms into connected learning hubs.

But technology alone does not change lives. People do.

ICT graduate volunteers worked side by side with teachers, building confidence, strengthening delivery, and ensuring that learners didn’t just touch computers — they understood them.

And the results?

Science and Technology pass rates rose across beneficiary schools. At Dombotombo Primary, results climbed from 63% to 74%. At Wenimbi, from 58% to 68%. Even schools that had struggled most began to show meaningful progress.

Behind every percentage is a story.

A learner who now types her own assignments.
A classroom researching beyond textbooks.
A teacher confidently delivering digital lessons.

This is what “Leaving No One Behind” looks like in action — aligned with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 9 (Innovation & Infrastructure), and rooted in Zimbabwe’s drive toward heritage-based, technology-enabled education.

This is not just connectivity.
It is dignity.
It is access.
It is a future expanding beyond geography.

Mondays remind us that mindset matters. As we begin the week, we choose intention, focus, and purpose — because meaningful impact starts with how we think, plan, and show up for communities we serve.

"Progress isn't just about outcomes; it's also shaped by the quality of conversations that lead to them. By showing up, listening, and collaborating with our partners, we build stronger foundations for solutions rooted in community realities – and built to last."

February invites us to reflect on how progress truly happens.

Not in isolation, but through shared effort, trust, and long-term commitment. At the Adam Molai Foundation, community is not a backdrop to our work — it is the driving force behind it. Every initiative is stronger because it is shaped with people, not for them. This month, we honour the power of walking together.
