Fellow young tourism enthusiasts, partners, stakeholders, and all the people of Zimbabwe,

As the year draws to a close, I extend my warmest and most heartfelt Christmas greetings to each and every one of you. This festive season is a time of joy, reflection, and gratitude—a moment to pause and appreciate the blessings we have shared and the milestones we have achieved together.

This year, we have continued to witness the incredible passion, innovation, and resilience of our youth in driving the tourism sector forward. From the vibrant communities of Victoria Falls to the cultural heart of Great Zimbabwe, from the Eastern Highlands to the wildlife-rich valleys of Hwange, young Zimbabweans have been at the forefront of showcasing our nation’s rich heritage, breathtaking landscapes, and warm hospitality. You have not only been participants but true ambassadors, shaping sustainable and inclusive tourism for our future.

As we celebrate the birth of Christ—a time symbolizing hope, renewal, and togetherness—let us also remember the spirit of unity and shared purpose. Tourism is more than an industry; it is a bridge that connects cultures, creates opportunities, and empowers communities. This Christmas, let us recommit to building a sector that uplifts every young person, promotes our national pride, and contributes meaningfully to Zimbabwe’s socio-economic growth.

May this Christmas fill your homes with laughter, your hearts with peace, and your lives with renewed hope. Cherish the moments with loved ones, recharge your spirits, and let us look forward to the coming year with optimism and determination.

Together, let us continue to explore, innovate, and inspire.

Wishing you and your families a blessed, merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year ahead!

Warm regards,

Stewart Mutizwa
