In 2017, for the very first time, a board was appointed to transform and restructure the association .
• This was meant to necessitate the identification of artistes. The Chairperson of the association is Casper Chigama, who is currently working with the other 7 board members. The Association has so many artists and arts groups that have affiliated to it.
• The board has successfully established the House of Arts Awards which is a major component of the HA Fest, where the association honours local authorities, government officials, various stakeholders and individuals who are doing altruistic activities to the betterment of Harare North District which will soon cater for the greater Harare. This has afforded artists the opportunity to be given an ear when they speak by authorities which is a great opportunity for advocacy as we earned the ability to influence policy makers.
• The board has managed to register the association with the Zimbabwe Youth Council which makes it easy for the association to hold events and do activities within the nation. City Of Harare – Social Services
