🚨 INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

RedRev Youth Empowerment Fund is inviting applications for two (2) internship/work-related learning position within the Social Sciences Department.

Applicants must be studying or have a background in any of the following fields.

* Psychology, Peace and Security Studies, Human Rights and Social Justice, Peace and Governance, Leadership and Governance or related Social Sciences discipline

ZITF Update: Youth and Veterans Welfare Collaboration
A joint tour of various exhibition stands took place at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) in Bulawayo on Thursday. Organized in collaboration with youth representatives and the Ministry of Veterans of the Liberation Struggle, the event highlighted ongoing initiatives aimed at community development.

The tour focused on advancing housing projects and capacity-building programs designed to support youth and families of veterans. Key discussions centered on increasing access to sustainable housing, welfare support, and new business development opportunities.

During the event, Ministry officials shared insights into the active projects currently underway to foster economic empowerment and stability for these communities.

🚨 UPDATE: YOUTH FARMS ACQUISITION PROGRAMME

AMALINDA SITE MEETING (PRE-ALLOCATION)
Morning Cdes,
Yesterday, we conducted our Pre-Allocation site meeting at Amalinda Farm, Mash West.
In attendance was the local leadearship consisting of the Headman Cde Chishonge (Sabhuku) and the ZANU-PF Chairman Cde Shonai accompanied by their leadership.
Communal Residents at Amalinda Farm also attended.
ESTABLISHMENT OF SITE OFFICE
The Site Office for Amalinda has now been established and set up on the ground.
- The Site Office will be used to hold meetings by the ZANU-PF Leadership and plan operations on the ground moving forward.
- RedRev Youth and ZIMARTT members at Amalinda will provide security and hold meetings at the Site Office.
✅ KEY RESOLUTIONS:
📍SITE SURVEY & ALLOCATIONS :
The surveying and allocation process is now in full swing at Amalinda Farm as per the Presidential Directive.
🤝 COMMUNAL SETTLERS:
- Communal Residents at AMALINDA FARM will not be relocated.
- Their plots will be regularized, and they will receive Offer Letters & Title Deeds alongside the new allottees who are the Youth and Veterans of the Liberation Struggle.
- This is in-line with Government policy regarding regularization of communal settlements.
📝 DOCUMENTATION:
- Headman Chishonge and Chairman Shonai along with their team, are now compiling a list of all existing homesteads at Amalinda Farm for formal land regularization.
- This list will be harmonized with the ZIMARTT / RedRev Youth list of new allotees who will also be offered plots at the farm under this Land Reform Program.
- The final list of those allocated their plots at Amalinda Farm will be submitted to Lands once this compilation process is complete.
📅 SAVE THE DATE: AMALINDA FARM COMMUNITY MEETING
All new beneficiaries, Amalinda residents, stakeholders, Lands office, ZiMARTT, and RedRev Youth members will now meet next on the 8th of May to proof-read the harmonized allocation list and move forward with allocations.

Exhibition Highlights Housing and Capacity-Building Programs for Families and Youth
BULAWAYO — The Ministry of Veterans Affairs, in collaboration with the RedRev Youth Empowerment Fund, recently conducted a joint tour of exhibition stands at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) in Bulawayo. The tour highlighted programs designed to transition community assistance into long-term socio-economic empowerment for families, dependents, and local youth.

The collaborative initiatives aim to move beyond traditional welfare by actively integrating families into key economic sectors, such as agriculture, mining, tourism, and energy. This approach focuses on building competitive, commercially viable community enterprises that foster inclusive development and create sustainable opportunities for the next generation.

According to Ministry officials, the goal is to shift toward sustainable socio-economic empowerment, enabling families to become independent drivers of economic growth and active participants in mainstream supply chains.

Key departments within the Ministry highlighted specific areas of support:

Welfare and Education: The Dependents Assistance department remains focused on providing essential welfare services, including funding for education, healthcare, and incidental support for the children of families in need.

Skills Development: Capacity-building and practical skills training programs (such as bookkeeping and vocational skills) are being rolled out. These training initiatives equip youth and dependents with the tools needed to sustain family livelihoods and support older family members.

Housing and Finance: Representatives from the RedRev Youth Empowerment Fund—an organization established in 2018 to support youth development—emphasized their ongoing work in implementing housing projects, facilitating access to business loans, and building partnerships with financial institutions to drive youth empowerment.

ZITF UPDATE 🇿🇼 - REDREV YOUTH & MINISTRY OF VETERANS OF THE LIBERATION STRUGGLE TOUR

ZIMPAPERS in partnership REDREV YOUTH and the Ministry of Veterans of the Liberation Struggle toured various exhibition stands at the ZITF in Bulawayo on Thursday.

This tour was held to promote housing and capacity development programmes for Children of War Veterans and the Youth, highlighting the support being provided by Government and its partners to boost access to welfare, housing and business opportunities.

Hon Minister Monica Mavhunga (Sen) as well as various senior management officials from the War Veterans Ministry were featured providing valuable insight in the projects currently being implemented for the Youth and families of Veterans.
