Meet Stephanie T Mahala 💕 , our attachee from Arupe University

For the past six months, she has been in the fore front teaching, guiding, and pouring her knowledge into 75 women across our Business Skills classes and mental health . Two classes. One extraordinary young woman. Countless lives touched.

Toast to you Stephanie, you carried the DWE spirit weekly and have been proof that empowerment is not just something we talk about — it is something we DO, every single day.

How do we create impact that lasts?

The answer led us to a new operations policy,one that prioritizes sustainability, accountability, strategic partnerships, and programmes that are both impactful and economically viable.

As Zimbabwe advances the National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2), sustainable organizations have a responsibility to contribute through resilient institutions, human capital development, and partnerships that create measurable change. That's the standard we're holding ourselves to.

We stand with , We often meet brilliant women who believe they cannot learn a new skill at 40 because someone told them “education has an age limit.” We talk to girls who think staying silent about abuse is loyalty because that’s what they were taught. We work in communities where dreaming beyond survival is treated like arrogance.

Abuse are not only hateful things we say but it is when we oppress dreams and deny women the opportunity or room to try and reach for what they want .

At Dorcas Women Empowerment Organization (DWE), we recognise that online violence is a barrier to women’s full participation in education, community life, advocacy, and personal growth. That’s why our programmes do more than teach skills: they build confidence, resilience, and collective power so that women can reclaim online spaces as safe, dignified, and empowering places.

Because every woman deserves dignity whether offline or on a screen.
