Today as EFT we are taking some time to remember that there were women before us who campaigned for women’s rights, children’s rights, for those with disabilities, the less fortunate, for world peace and many other social matters. Helen Keller rose to become a major 20th century humanitarian, educator and writer. As EFT, we are grateful for the many people that started doing this work loudly and proudly.

As an organization committed to advocating for the rights of women and children, we believe that abuse, violence and injustice happening anywhere in Africa should concern us all. When women are harmed, when children are unsafe, and when human rights are violated, we will continue to raise our voices and stand in solidarity with those affected.

At EFT today, we proudly celebrate menstrual health, dignity, education, and empowerment for all girls and women around the world. 🌍💜
Menstruation is natural — and no one should ever face shame, stigma, or discrimination because of it. Every girl deserves access to safe menstrual products, accurate information, and supportive environments so they can live with confidence and dignity.
Today, we raise our voices to:
