Our 2026 Local President Loneal Tk Machekeche and Vice President Membership Tinashe Mehluli Dahwa, alongside our Immediate Past President Tatenda Cole Mcmillan Chigwada now serving as the 2026 JCI Zimbabwe National Public Relations Director were among the leaders who warmly welcomed our 2026 JCI International Vice President on her official visit to Zimbabwe 🇿🇼.

The JCI Metro Health Series Project proudly launches 31 Days of Raising Mental Health Awareness bringing together 9 powerful partners and 4 sister local organizations from South Africa and for one bold mission.

Theme: Together for Mental Health and for Change

This is more than a campaign , it’s a movement.

In a world where many are smiling outside but struggling inside, this initiative breaks the silence, challenges stigma, and sparks real conversations that save lives. Mental health affects how we think, work, lead, and live and ignoring it is no longer an option.

For 31 days, we educate, we amplify voices, we create safe spaces, and we remind every young person: you are not alone.

Because real change happens when we stand together.

JCI Metro Zimbabwe has officially commenced the collection of food items, clothing, and monetary support towards the TOSE Respite Care Home Project under the Human Duties Day Function.

All collected items will be delivered to TOSE Home on the 10th of July, in commemoration of JCI International Human Duties Day, as we come together in service, compassion, and action for our community.

We invite partners, organisations, and individuals to join us in making a meaningful impact and restoring dignity to those in need.

Last year, the project was proudly featured twice in the JCI Leader Magazine, and was recognized among the Top 3 community-impact projects at Africa and the Middle East Conference (AMEC) — a true testament to the power of young leaders driving change.

Now in its second year, we are scaling impact and deepening sustainability.
