Every child deserves a childhood filled with learning, growth, and opportunity—not labour that robs them of their potential.

On World Day Against Child Labour, AWET reaffirms its commitment to protecting children's rights and promoting safe, supportive environments where every child can learn, thrive, and dream without exploitation.

Education is a right. Childhood is a right. Let us work together to ensure that no child is forced to choose work over their future.

Today, AWET joins the world in commemorating the International Day for Dialogue Among Civilizations.

In a world shaped by diverse cultures, beliefs, and experiences, dialogue remains one of the most powerful tools for building understanding, fostering respect, and strengthening peaceful communities. Through listening, learning, and engaging with one another, we create opportunities for cooperation and collective progress.

Let us continue to promote conversations that unite rather than divide, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued.

Menstrual health is not a privilege — it is a right.

Today, on Menstrual Hygiene Day, we stand for dignity, education, confidence, and equal opportunities for every girl.

No girl should miss school, feel ashamed, or be left behind because of her period.

Healthy plants mean healthy communities.

In many rural communities, plants are more than crops — they are food, income, medicine, and survival.

When plant health is threatened, livelihoods are affected. Families face food insecurity, biodiversity is lost, and already vulnerable communities carry a heavier burden.

This International Day of Plant Health, AWET joins the global call to protect the systems that sustain life.

🌱 Healthy plants support healthy people.
🌱 Healthy ecosystems support resilient communities.
🌱 Sustainable agriculture protects future generations.

As we work with communities across Zimbabwe, we continue promoting awareness, sustainability, and resilience at the grassroots level.

Because protecting plant health is also protecting dignity, nutrition, and opportunity.

Thank you to every nurse for your dedication and service.
