Zimbabwe Adult Learners Association (ZALA) is a non profit organisation operating in the rural areas of Zimbabwe with a membership derived mainly from women farmers.

ZALA's mission is provision of literacy and economic empowerment of males, females and youth among grassroots communities. ZALA was formed in 1994 following a conference were marginalised women identified, among other things, illetaracy as a major impendiment to their autonomy and prosperity. iated a grassroots literacy program , mobilising Ministry of Education tutors to teach youth and adult's literacy and numeracy skills through the spirit of volunteeism and community slef-help.
