USD119K awarded to 9 projects under CreativeACTIONs 2 funded by EU Delegation to Zimbabwe. There was heightened dialogue between state & non-state actors. The culture sector lobbied and advocated for its own needs. Job Creation, Youth Development & Creative Industry now part of National Development Strategy (NDS)-02. It is encouraging to witness cultural operators’s continuous interaction with state actors.

Intwasa ARTS Festival koBULAWAYO has brought in creatives, and consumers of art, mostly young people to celebrate cultural diversity and consume cultural productions. Supported by Culture Fund through CreativeACTIONs with the funding of the EU Delegation to Zimbabwe provided a rare grant which allowed artists to enjoy autonomy and exercise their creative licence while promoting social cohesion in societies.

Linda Chaya has co-crafted a model solutions for the music sector in Zimbabwe. She has collaborated with government ministries,music managers, Lawyers & CMOs to bring to life lasting solutions in IPR management & Royalties collection and distribution. Funded by EU Delegation to Zimbabwe

Celebrating work of Persons with Disabilities (PwD). Maginess Ndhlovu of Maggie’s Unique Design touched the hearts of Civil Society Organisation (CSOs), city fathers - town of Gwanda, parents & guidance. Children & Youths were empowered & talents exposed to limelight. Thanks to EU Delegation to Zimbabwe for extending funding support which supported initiatives by Persons with Disabilities.
