According to the Zimbabwe NGO Forum, 60% of NGOs in the country face severe funding challenges, with many unable to cover operational costs. The lack of transparent investment platforms has further eroded donor confidence. This financial shortfall hampers timely service delivery and stifles the potential for growth and sustainability in Zimbabwe's NGO sector

ZimSIIX, a blockchain-enabled platform, connects social investors with NGOs, offering real-time financial tracking, impact measurement, and transparent reporting enabling social investors to monitor the social returns on their investments.

In 0️⃣2️⃣ days we launch the platform.

NANGO Zimbabwe director Ernest Nyimai is addressing the NGO Directors' Retreat this morning in .

He says the trust deficit challenge that arises from an operational environment of mutual suspicion between government regulators and NGOs.

In the opening remarks from the ministry, NGOs were urged to “cleanse themselves from being perceived as regime change agents.”

Nyimai emphasised the importance of deepening participation of civil society in the design and drafting of laws and regulations.

He also urged improved dialogue to address specific concerns on both ends.

The Centre for Humanitarian Analytics Solution to this will be launched in two days at this retreat.

CHA is developing the platform in collaboration with NANGO, creating an online marketplace that links NGOs with potential social investors.

🔵 and a transparent reporting system,

the platform increases social investor confidence and facilitates strategic, outcome-focused investments..
