Zimbabwe Mighty Women of Hope Support Organisation ZMWOHSO empowers HIV positive prisoners and ex-
prisoners on Sustainable livelihoods and income gene

ZMWOHSO is introducing a project in prisons where prisoners assemble bodacart ambulances attached to motorcycles. The bodacarts will carry the sick to health centres, collect ARVs, medication for bed ridden HIV positive patients. The bodacarts will be leased to HIV positive ex-prisoners who will then use them and pay leasing fee to HIV positive prisoners,that way both of them benefit from the pr

oceeds. We have a Moringa plant project were HIV positive ex-prisoners plant moringa trees,dry them ,grind them and pack for resale in pharmacies in Zimbabwe as the moringa tree was proved to have medicinal propeties by the Zimbabwe Medicine Control Authority. ZMWOHSO train peer educators in prisons to start and run HIV support groups in prisons.
