~~*> Our staff team continues in northern Uganda working with refugees.
~~*> Pray for protection of our staff and others in Uganda. The second round of COVID-19 has killed 225 within resent weeks.
~~*> Praise the LORD our staff team completed their Discipleship Ministry Partner Development training last month.
~~*> Pray the staff members will be able to discover and develop ministry partners so they will to have at least 70% of their financial needs met by March.
~~*> Pray for the repatriation of all of our staff members back to South Sudan in next year.
~~*> Please pray for the implementation of a peace agreement in South Sudan.

~~*> Praise God for the 280 freshmen reached with the gospel in one campus with 60 students receiving Christ.
~~*> Pray in 2021 we will have ministry presences in eight campuses, with movements in four of them.
~~*> Praise God for the mobilization and training of pastors and church leaders by our Global Church Movement team, with multiplying churches and communities to the third generation in the Manzini region within a short time.

~~*> Thank God we’ve been able to operate smoothly during these times.
~~*> Praise God for the Student Led Movement events. Eleven students participated in the Shaid online conference. Evangelism and discipleship activities were led by the student leaders.
~~*> Thank God for a couple who recently joined our staff. They are in basic ministry training with plans to work in Global Church Movement and help expand that staff team.
~~*> Praise God the Maputo municipality gave approval for construction of the ministry facility on our plot and have our own office.
~~*> Thank the LORD for former students and current professionals continuing to partner with the ministry financially, showing their commitment to those who helped disciple them while students.
~~*> Pray the Mozambique government will be successful in fighting terrorism in the northern part of the country.
~~*> Pray for recruiting and training of new staff members.
~~*> Ask God to provide resources to expand the Student Led Movement in Beira, 2nd major city in the country.

~~*> Praise God for successful mobilization and participation of 100 Zambian student delegates in the October Shaihidi online conference.
~~*> Praise God for our student leaders in Lusaka and Copperbelt who are doing online follow up.
~~*> Praise God the body of Christ is collectively working to help advance the gospel to all parts of the country.
~~*> Praise the LORD for the recent National Day of Prayer, fasting and reconciliation organized by the Church. All political parties were invited despite the challenges of Covid 19.
~~*> Pray for zeal, direction and wisdom for the newly selected student leaders in Lusaka and Copperbelt provinces.
~~*> Pray for wisdom, finances and strategic partnerships as the Student Led Movement team prepare their strategic plan for 2021–2025.
~~*> Pray for a favorable rainy season.
~~*> Pray for unity of purpose and objectivity among politicians as our country will hold general elections next year.
~~*> Praise for the 27 staff members who went through online Multiplying Churches and Communities training. Pray they will put into practice their acquired skills.

~~*> Pray for a mission trip to Zomba, Blantyre and Thyolo from November 13th to 22nd.
~~*> Pray for three staff members as they prepare to relocate to Zomba and open doors in colleges there.
~~*> Praise God three new Leader Impact groups started last week. Pray two more will start this week.
~~*> Pray for the Leader Impact outreach with Eswatini (Swaziland) Prime Minister, 19th November. Pray many top Malawian leaders will attend.
~~*> Pray the operations staff will adjust to new bookkeeping methods.
~~*> Praise God for the wonderful women’s strategy meeting last week and pray for meetings with Zambezi Evangelical Church.
~~*> Pray the New Life Training Center (NLTC) for key leaders will start soon.
~~*> Pray for continued development of financial and human resources. We are grateful for many new ministry partners.
~~*> Praise the LORD for successful completion of Basic and Intermediate NLTC training for interns. Pray they will adjust quickly and have fruitful ministries as they report for field ministry assignments this week.

~~*> Praise the LORD for ALMA's first graduating group since we resumed enrolling in February 2018. Graduation ceremony for 28 students is October 30th 2020.
~~*> Thank God for His continued protection and preservation of the ALMA family, staff, faculty and students - from the COVID 19 pandemic.
~~*> Pray for additional financial partners for the ALMA Scholarship Fund in order to reach strategic constituencies of society with our programmes e.g. Members of Parliament, clergy, security forces and traditional leaders.
~~*> ALMA is now advertising for the February 2021 enrolment, please ask God to provide at least 30 new students for the February intake.
~~*> Early next year, ALMA is planning to launch its own journal entitled “Africa Leadership and Governance Journal”. Pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance and excellence, as we work on the first edition. May the journal positively impact leadership practice and theory in Africa and beyond.
~~*> Many students are struggling to pay their tuition fees on time due to the economic challenges in the country. Please pray The LORD will provide for the students. Also pray the economic situation in Zimbabwe will improve as this would allow more enrolments for ALMA.

Thank God also for online follow-up of Hope2020 materials produced on our YouTube channel. Feedbacks, views, subscribers and sharing are all increasing.
~~*> Thank God for various online events and conferences with disciples attending with positive participation.
~~*> Praise God for six new potential fulltime staff members and 17 people committed to join CMP (Campus Missionary Program) as interns. Pray for our ongoing recruitment process and training of staff and interns as well as volunteers.
~~*> Ask God for our continuing ministry transition process to be smooth and peaceful.
~~*> Pray for discovery and development of existing and new ministry partners.
~~*> Pray God will give wisdom for our Student-led Movement, on how to balance online and physical ministry, since the government has announced the reopening of schools.

~~*> Please pray for peaceful campaigning and fair national elections on 28 October. Pray especially for the Zanzibar Archipelago in the Indian Ocean as the competition is very strong there.
~~*> Pray for the November outreach for first year students in two universities. Pray for good attendance, students will receive Christ and God will raise up laborers (multiplying disciples).
~~*> Pray for the November Student Leadership Movement’s mission in Zanzibar. The SLM staff will train and challenge students to start ministry there. Ask God to move in the student’s hearts and give them desires to serve Him during their time in university.
~~*> Pray for the recruitment of about 40 church leaders to be trained in church planting using the Multiplying Churches and Communities strategy (online). Pray the training will help them apply the knowledge and disciple others.
~~*> Pray our staff team will stay healthy, safe and continue developing ministry partners during this pandemic period.
