Endometriosis Awareness 🌸

Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory condition where cells similar to those lining the uterus grow outside of it.

It affects up to 1 in 10 women of reproductive age worldwide.

Some risk factors include:

A family history of endometriosis

Starting menstruation before age 12

Short menstrual cycles (less than 28 days)

Lower body mass index

Never having given birth

Because symptoms can be confusing or dismissed as “normal period pain,” many women go years without a proper diagnosis.

👉🏽 If you or someone you know experiences severe menstrual pain, pain during s*x, difficulty conceiving, or ongoing pelvic discomfort, it’s important to get checked.
