Today, we conclude hosting trainings of 124 beneficiaries from the Small Holder Agriculture Project. It has been an exciting week, although our infrastructure was stretched to the limit, including bedrooms, meals, conferencing, and transport. Appreciate all that staff who have worked tirelessly to make it a success.

It is with profound sadness that we learn of Mrs Evelyn Sitiya's passing. Mrs Sitiya began her career with Kunzwana Women's Association as a volunteer in mid 90s informing Kunzwana members on the prevention of HIV and AIDs. She was soon confirmed as a Field Officer training women in rural areas in practical skills, emerging as an expert in Community Development while also being the Garment Making and Horticulture specialist. In 2013 Mrs Sitiya was promoted to manage the newly constructed Skills Training Centre in Macheke while establishing the ECD centre which now includes a primary school up to Grade 7. Evelyn Sitiya's passing has come as a shock. We are deeply saddened, particularly that Mrs Sitiya embodied the institutional memory of our association, its structures and the 7,800 membership in the 17 districts in Zimbabwe where Kunzwana is implementing projects.
