The HND in Water and Sanitation Management Class of 2026 is in Session!
Following the successful completion of their online learning sessions in February, our 2026 class is now engaged in an intensive three-week face-to-face block release.

This phase focuses on deepening practical competencies, peer learning, and applied problem-solving in water and sanitation management — strengthening the leadership and technical capacity needed to improve service delivery across the sector.

At the Institute of Water and Sanitation Development, we are proud to see professionals advancing their expertise and commitment to sustainable water and sanitation solutions.

IWSD Launches Phase 2 Training on Satellite Data Debiasing & Tailored Product Development

IWSD is delivering the first training package under Phase 2 of the Capacity Building Component for the UNDP–GCF project. This new phase builds on the hydrological modelling and allocation trainings completed in Phase 1. The trainings have now shifted focus to Satellite Data Debiasing and Tailored Product which involves critical tools for climate-resilient water management.

The week-long training (1–5 December 2025) at Monomotapa Hotel, Harare, brings together technical experts from ZINWA, MSD, and partner institutions to strengthen their skills in improving satellite rainfall, temperature, soil moisture, and streamflow datasets, and transforming them into reliable, decision-ready climate services.
