Bs Leon Trust, all the residents and staff would like to say a heart felt thank you to
THE WATER DEPOT for their more than generous donation of water. We have been struggling with our water supply for a few weeks due to burst pipes in the area. Thank to all those who have helped co-ordinate getting us water when we most needed it. 🙏

Community spirit is fantastic! (A short story😄)
Disaster struck in early December with the onset of the rains - the roof of our residents' beloved TV lounge succumbed to years of wear & tear & the entire TV lounge was flooded & destroyed. Hayley Mellor of Dusk Home Stores sprang into action & mobilised her walking buddies & other friends (Nick Brice, Sam & Mel Covarr, J Skinner, Debbie Mellor, Linda Henderson, Annie Hogg & Grant Campbell) to raise funds to refurb the lounge. The outpouring of support was fantastic & all the paint was donated by Nick (discounted by Quality Paints), funds raised by the others covered 2 comfy loungesuites & the curtains, cushions & pictures were donated by the lovely Hayley 😍.
George Burt of National Carpets & Curtains Zimbabwe replaced the carpet at a generous discount & Ryan Bekker got the roof repaired. Words cannot express how deeply we appreciate all of your support - thank you from the bottom of our hearts! 💓

Greatful thanks to International Coatings Company & Pete Major of Scope Construction for donating the materials and applying them to our lounge floor to ensure none of our residents slip and fall.
