WHO ARE WE

Care At The Core of Humanity (CATCH) is an organization that works with children that are in need of rehabilitation focusing on those in conflict with the law and those that have encountered abuse with the main objective of protecting the welfare and human rights of children including their rights to a fair trial and protection from inhuman treatment or punishment. Our organization was

founded in 2007 and registered with the ministry of Labor and Social Services as a Private Voluntary Organization; POV35/12.

Our Story

WHO ARE WE Care At The Core of Humanity (CATCH) is a non-government organisation registration number PVO 35/ 12 with a mandate to enhance access to justice for children in contact with the Law in Zimbabwe. CATCH was formed in the year 2007 however it begin this work in October 2010 responding to the dire situation of children in conflict with the law who were deprived of liberty in various institutions in Zimbabwe including the prisons, police custody, remand prison and those who were already going before the courts. To date the organisation has 9 centres across the country and have helped over 3000 children with legal aid and psychosocial support services.
