The wait is over... and what a moment for Zimbabwean aviation! 🇿🇼✈️🇬🇧
History took to the skies once again as Air Zimbabwe proudly resumed its direct London–Harare service, reconnecting Zimbabwe with the United Kingdom after years away from this iconic route.

This is more than the return of a flight. It is the return of possibility, confidence, national pride, and a bold statement that Zimbabwe's aviation industry is soaring once again.

The Air Traffic Controllers Association of Zimbabwe (ATCAZ) salutes the government of Zimbabwe,Air Zimbabwe, the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe, Airports Company of Zimbabwe, National Handling Services, aviation professionals, and every stakeholder whose commitment has helped make this long-awaited milestone a reality.

As the aircraft touches down on home soil, it carries more than passengers—it carries the hopes of a nation, reunites families, strengthens business ties, boosts tourism, and reminds the world that Zimbabwe is open, connected, and ready to fly higher.

From all of us at ATCAZ...

Welcome back to the London skies, Air Zimbabwe! The roar of your engines is the sound of Zimbabwe reclaiming its place in global aviation.

Here's to safe skies, new horizons, and many more historic landings.

During Men’s Wellness Month in June, the Air Traffic Controllers Association of Zimbabwe brought together male Air Traffic Controllers, based at Harare Airport for an important wellness engagement focused on mental health, workplace pressure, resilience, and peer support.

The session reminded us that behind every calm voice on frequency is a person who must also be supported, grounded, and well.

As ATCAZ ,we continue to encourage open conversations around mental wellness, because strong teams are built when we look out for one another, both in and out of the operational environment.

Controllers at work.
Safety in motion.
Wellness in focus.
