Rotary Club of Harare Central is local club in Harare. It is part of Rotary International. We meet every Thursday's between 17:30hrs-18:30hrs at the Rotary Centre in Harare. Rotary International is an international service organization whose stated human rights purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards

in all vocations, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world. It is a secular organization open to all people regardless of race, color, creed, religion, gender, or political preference. There are 34,282 member clubs worldwide. 1.2 million individuals called Rotarians have joined these clubs. Rotarians usually gather weekly for breakfast, lunch, or dinner to fulfill their first guiding principle to develop friendships as an opportunity for service. "It is the duty of all Rotarians," states their Manual of Procedure "outside their clubs, to be active as individuals in as many legally constituted groups and organizations as possible to promote, not only in words but through exemplary dedication, awareness of the dignity of all people and the respect of the consequent human rights of the individual." The Rotarian's primary motto is "Service Above Self"; its secondary motto is "One profits most who serves best

The Rotary Club of Harare Central had a beautiful induction of the club’s 54th President. Congratulations Florence Jambwa! The induction was presided by the Assistant Governor, AG Patricia Patricia Kambarami who explained that true leadership is measured not by position but by service. She urged President Florence to “strengthen the club through unity, and leave a legacy of hope and meaningful impact.” President Florence called on membership to remain focused and committed to the goals and to adhere to the four way test. She then introduced the Board for 2026-2027 namely Biata Nyamayaro as club Secretary, Tember Banda as Foundation Chair, Plaxcedes Majuru as Learning Facilitation Chair, Redempter Wadzi Mukumbuzi as Public Image Chair, Ndaka Munyuki Hungwe as Fellowship and Fundraising Chair, Kudzai Angeline Nyengerai as Service Projects Chair, as Membership Chair, Travor Wambe as Youth Service Chair, Simba Chikarango as Administration Chair and Rutendo Chidavaenzi as the Club’s Treasurer.
