The Green Awakening. As the name suggests, the campaign seeks to awaken the African communities to the realities of Climate ch
ange, empowering them with relevant and useful knowledge that will impact and redirect day to day practices with a greater focus on a sustainable future. The Green Awakening houses the following Climate Change initiatives :-
CIFA ( Climate Impact Faith Alliance)
This facet works with churches and religious bodies in the implementation of theoretical as well as practical projects. Third Day Actions
This is a student network that brings together students from Primary schools, Secondary schools, Universities and Tertiary Institutions for purposes of capacitating them to understand and address challenges associated with Climate Change. We employ creative, captivating, interesting and yet prolific methodologies that students can relate to and fully comprehend. Platform 8
This is our entrepreneurship initiative that seeks to train and raise what we term green entrepreneurs. Under this initiative, our focus is to groom and empower young people who will use business as a tool to address challenges related to climate change. We will raise business people that will move into areas such as waste management, clean energy generation and climate friendly construction. Universal Primary Education (UPE) - Our Primary Scholarship Initiative
This Initiative mobilizes young adults and the elderly to help make a difference in alleviating the problem of children who cannot afford to pay tuition fees. We go an extra mile by sourcing books, uniforms and clothes as God opens doors for us.
