The World Food Safety Day Conference Meeting, held under the theme "From Burden to Solutions- Safe Food Everywhere," brought together food industry stakeholders to discuss the critical role of food safety in protecting public health and promoting sustainable development.
The Conference strengthened awareness of food safety issues and promoted actionable solutions that contribute to healthier populations, resilient food systems, and sustainable economic growth. The event underscored the message that food safety is everyone's responsibility and that collective action is essential in transforming burdens into solutions for safe food everywhere.
Sympathy Mangwenya, the founder of the Women Writers Support Network- Africa, was the Master of Ceremonies for the event.
