ZIMSOFF participated in this year’s National Good Food and Seed Festival held in Harare on 19 - 20 September under the theme "Nurturing Our Future, Reviving Our Heritage." Many smallholder organisations, NGOs, academia, and potential buyers attended too. The festival held at the National Botanical Gardens featured impressive display of drought resilient seed varieties passed down from one generation to other - from great grandmothers, grandmothers, mothers, daughters and granddaughters. ZIMSOFF women farmers showcased a range of traditional seeds, grains, wild fruits and processed traditional products. They also exchanged not only seeds but information on how to grow and protect the traditional farming methods. There was a variety of traditional cuisines for tasting.

Mrs Elizabeth Mpofu ZIMSOFF farmer is in Kandy, Sri Lanka attending 3rd Nyeleni Global Forum. She delivered a keynote on the history of Nyeleni reminding other people present of the roots of the global movement for food sovereignty and the strength of communities that continue to defend their seeds, land and culture.

ZIMSOFF had a priviledge to host Meeting of the Women's Articulation of La Via Vampesina from the 15 to 18 August 2025 in Mutoko Gohori Resort. Delegations were from nine regions of the peasant. There were a lot of discussion around local, regional and global context, issues on patriachy, fascism, racism as well as Continental Women's school. Delegates had an opportunity to visit one of ZIMSOFF centres of excellence in Kawere Ward 4 at Katsande family farm, were women farmers were showcasing their seeds and agroecology practices.
