Sinqobile Ndlovu, recognized as a JCI Zimbabwe Ten Outstanding Young People honoree, is a dynamic force for sustainable change born from Bulawayo. As the 2019 JCI Bulawayo Local President and later serving as JCI Zimbabwe Vice President in 2023, she has championed youth empowerment, environmentally driven innovation, and inclusive opportunity.
Through Wezesha Industries, Sinqobile turned discarded plastics into purpose teaching women, youth, and people with disabilities how to collect and transform waste into income generating products like sweeping brooms from PET bottles, turning 7 cents per kilogram into sustainable livelihoods at 25 cents per bundle. Her pioneering efforts not only fight climate change but uplift marginalized communities, turning trash into hope and harnessing dignity through enterprise.
Her journey is deeply emotional not because itβs easy, but because itβs rooted in resilience. Despite societal stigmas around waste collection, she empowers others to embrace this noble work. She embodies service, creativity, and compassionate leadership. Sinqobile Ndlovuβs impact in Zimbabweansβ lives and environment is more than innovation itβs a legacy of possibility and transformation.
