🌱 Join Us in Empowering the Next Generation!

We’ve launched a Donation Drive for Zirabada Primary School in Masvingo, where many young children (ages 7–9) are walking barefoot to school, often without basic learning materials.

🎒 We are raising:
✅ School Fees – $30 per child
✅ School Shoes – Sizes 3–4
âś… Exercise Books & Stationery
âś… Complete School Uniforms

As Rise Up Women Centre, we believe every child deserves the dignity of proper education and a chance to dream. This initiative isn’t just about donations, it’s about restoring hope and shaping futures.

🤝 We’re calling on friends, partners, and well-wishers to stand with us. Whether you contribute financially, donate supplies, or help us spread the word, you’re making a real difference.

📅 We’re accepting donations until 5 September 2025.
Let’s and change lives, one child at a time.

🌿 To the Woman Who's About to Give Up… 🌿

📖 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” – Isaiah 43:2 (NIV)

Dear Sister,
We don’t know exactly what you’re facing today but we feel your weariness. The kind of tiredness that words can’t explain. Maybe life has been unfair. Perhaps the prayers feel unanswered. Maybe you’ve cried in silence and smiled in public to stay strong.

But please hear this from our hearts: You are not forgotten. You are not alone. And this storm will pass. God has promised to walk with you through the waters, not to leave you in them. Even in the fire, He is your shield.

Hold on, even if it’s just by a thread. We’re standing with you in prayer. You are loved. You are seen. And your story is not over yet.

đź’ś Sending you strength, hugs, and hope from the Rise Up Women Centre family.

🌺 A Reminder to Every Woman: Your Pain Can Be Someone’s Freedom 🌺

When we talk about women rising, we speak of women like Betty Makoni, a Zimbabwean woman who turned personal trauma into national transformation.

Betty didn’t let her past define her. As a survivor of abuse, she chose to stand up, speak out, and show up for girls across Zimbabwe. She founded the Girl Child Network, a movement that rescued and empowered over 300,000 girls from abuse, poverty, and silence.

She didn’t wait to be perfect. She began where she was.
She didn’t keep her story hidden. She used it to heal others.
She didn’t walk alone. She created a movement.

đź’« Let this be your reminder:
When you rise above your situation, you don’t rise alone, you lift generations.

Dear woman, that pain you’ve survived may just be the key to someone else’s breakthrough. Don’t waste it. Use it. Share it. Let God turn it into purpose.

💜 At Rise Up Women Centre, we’re building a community where stories become healing, and healed women become builders.

📢 Tag a woman who inspires you to rise above!

💼 Once You Carry Your Own Water… You Value Every Drop
Many people dream of owning a business, but here’s a truth we often ignore:

👉🏾 When it’s your name on the lease…
👉🏾 When it’s your capital on the line…
👉🏾 When it’s your client to serve…

That’s when you truly understand the value of focus, excellence, and accountability.

But why wait until it’s yours to start working like it matters?

📖 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” Colossians 3:23

Whether you’re a shop assistant, a manager, a vendor, or a domestic worker, your work is a seed. How you water it determines what you’ll one day reap.

🔥 THE HARSH TRUTH
📉 Most people give 50% effort when it’s “not their business.”
They misuse resources. Come late. Serve with attitude. Ignore the customer's needs.
But if you can’t be faithful with what belongs to another… how can God trust you with your own? (Luke 16:12)

đź’ˇ FACTS THAT MATTER:
***67% of customers say a good customer service experience encourages repeat buying (Salesforce)

***Employees who take initiative and ownership are 5x more likely to be promoted

***Many business owners started as employees and were noticed for how they treated the business like their own

🌍 REAL WOMEN WHO WORKED LIKE OWNERS AND CHANGED THE GAME
👩🏾‍🍳 Tabitha Brown —Started in customer service and struggled for years before using her integrity and consistency to build a multimillion-dollar vegan brand.

👩🏾‍💼 Indra Nooyi – Started as a receptionist. Her leadership mindset and work ethic eventually led her to become the CEO of PepsiCo.

👩🏾‍🎤 Viola Davis – Once worked in low-wage jobs while pursuing her dreams. She gave her best, even off stage, and today she’s an EGOT winner and CEO of her own production company.

đź’¬ OUR MESSAGE TO EVERY WOMAN
***Stop waiting for “your turn” to act like a boss.
***Start where you are. Work as though the business depends on you, because one day, it will.

🌱 Excellence now creates harvests later.
đź’§Faithfulness in little opens doors to much.

🌸 A Day Well Spent, Sisterhood Strengthened! 🌸

Our Rise Up Ladies Conference was a day of purpose, power, and renewed passion. Though some sisters couldn't be with us physically, their presence was deeply felt.

Pach Faytie may not have been in the room, but her generous donation of the Rise Up caps spoke volumes. Every woman walked away not only with knowledge but with a powerful symbol on her head—a reminder that:
💥 “You have been empowered to rise!”

Thank you, Ladies Millicent Rue Magadu, C'thae chideya for sowing into this vision one way and another and reminding us that true sisterhood shows up—even from afar. 💖

To all our beautiful ladies: let this be more than just a memory. Let’s turn what we learned into action. Let’s rise with intention, pursue financial freedom, build our homes wisely, and walk boldly in purpose.

💬 Drop a “Thank you, again for the Gents that sponsored ticket give aways!” in the comments and share what you’re doing differently this week because you’ve been empowered to rise.

🔥 This Week, Choose Courage Over Comfort 🔥

Comfort may feel safe, BUT nothing grows there.
This week, we challenge every woman in our community to rise above the familiar, the predictable, the easy... and step into the bold, the purposeful, the uncomfortable.
Because courage is where transformation begins:
• It’s the voice that says, “Start the business.”
• It’s the decision to forgive and move forward.
• It’s speaking up when it’s easier to stay silent.
• It’s choosing progress over perfection.

đź’ˇ Proverbs 31:25 says: "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."

That is the power of a courageous woman.
Let this week be the one you look back on and say, “That’s when I stopped playing small.”

👉 What courageous step are you taking this week? Share it below and inspire another woman to rise up too. 💬👇

In our powerful IG Live session with Clare Makoni, we dove deep into the often-unspoken reality of money trauma and how it affects our decisions, confidence, and future.

Key takeaways included:

• Acknowledging financial trauma is the first step to healing. We must name it to tame it.
• Normalize money conversations—healing begins in safe, honest spaces.
• Surround yourself with people who can hold you accountable, correct you in love, and uplift you as you rise.
• We addressed overspending, impulse buying, and financial self-sabotage—recognizing that these habits often stem from unhealed emotional wounds.
• Inherited money mindsets can keep us stuck—we must consciously redefine our financial legacy.
• Clare emphasized the importance of knowing your personal emergency—so you can prioritize wisely and discern when to help others without self-sacrifice.

This was more than a conversation—it was a wake-up call for every woman committed to financial freedom.

As we celebrate our mothers and all the sacrifices they made for us, it’s also a gentle moment to reflect:
Are we doing our best for our children?
Are we preparing well for the future of the children we hope to raise one day?

Every woman is or becoming someone’s foundation, someone’s “home.” One day, a child will say, “At our house, we grew up well.” or “Things were tough growing up.”
And that “home” they’ll be talking about… is you.

This isn’t to place pressure or blame just a reminder: *Do your best, with what you have, where you are.* Your efforts matter more than you know.
One day, may you be celebrated just as deeply as the woman you celebrate today. ❤️

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers. Make sure to purchase your ticket and we meet on the 7th of June and address the Road to Financial Freedom for a woman
