In 2022, a group of Zimbabwean high schoolers flew to Europe. No African team had ever won. They changed that. 🇿🇼

They weren’t favoured.
They weren’t expected.
They were from Zimbabwe — and they were ready.

That year, the Zimbabwe National Moot Court Team became the first African team ever invited to — and to WIN — the European Moot Court Competition.

Presidential recognition followed.
International headlines followed.
History was made.

Now it’s 2026. And we’re going back. 🌍

This year, 18 students will represent Zimbabwe:
✈️ 8 travel to Romania (Sep 29 – Oct 6)
✈️ 10 travel to Kenya (Dec 13 – 17)
🎓 With Yale & University of Chicago on the horizon for 2027

The only question is: Will you be on this team?

History is not accidental. It is written by those who step forward when it matters most.

For the first time in Zimbabwe’s history, the highest office of justice is held by a woman.

The Honourable Chief Justice Elizabeth Gwaunza does not simply assume a title—she defines a moment. One that will be studied, remembered, and felt for generations.

We often speak of the law as something distant—statutes, systems, institutions.
But today, the law is something else.

It is visible.
It is human.
It is possible.

For every young girl who has ever been told to lower her ambition, this moment answers back—clearly and decisively.

Justice has a future. And today, it has a face.

At the Zimbabwe National Moot Court Team and Ideas Matter Academy, this is more than history. It is a living standard. A reminder to every student we train that excellence is not theoretical—it is attainable.

The question is no longer whether the future will change.
It already has.
