We have taken note of a circulating video showing a to***co grower being forcibly apprehended by To***co Sales Floor (TSF) security guards.

As Zimbabwe To***co Growers Association we strongly condemn this manner of handling disputes. Such actions are unacceptable and undermine principles of dignity, fairness and lawful conflict resolution within the agricultural sector.

We urge TSF to promptly issue a clear and transparent statement addressing the incident and outlining the steps being taken to investigate the matter. Accountability and adherence to proper procedures are essential to maintaining trust among growers and stakeholders.

Furthermore we call upon anyone who has positively identified the affected grower to come forward and share that information with us so that appropriate support can be extended.

We reaffirm our commitment to protecting the rights and welfare of all farmers and encourage constructive, lawful approaches to resolving conflicts.
