Pora Health We strive to improve health outcomes in Zimbabwe's marginalized communities through public health education and advocacy.

Pora Health is a Zimbabwean non-profit, youth-run public health organization that strives to improve the health of marginalized populations—ethnic minority, immigrant, refugee, rural, and urban poor populations—through community-focused public health education and advocacy efforts. Through the human capital model lens, we believe that promoting health equity in marginalized communities will help f

ree many out of health-based poverty traps, thus promoting household and national economic development. Our projects and programs, which focus on one pressing health issue at a time, are directed and managed by college students, Pora Health Associates, and implemented conjointly with community members and leaders to ensure long-lasting impact.
