Today I had the honour of visiting Chinake Village in Murehwa, where I gifted Gogo Masokisi with a solar-powered irrigation system as part of our continued commitment to uplifting rural communities and promoting sustainable farming.

This was a follow-up visit after our Mother’s Day celebrations, where we also extended support to Gogo Masokisi. Seeing the joy and hope this project brings to her family and the wider community is truly inspiring.

Our mission remains clear — to empower rural livelihoods, improve food security, and create sustainable opportunities for our people through practical community development initiatives.

Good morning from Gutu.

Today, hope walks where fear once lived.
The David Munowenyu Foundation team has arrived to kuperekedza Patience back to school after surviving a crocodile attack—an act of courage that shook a community, and an act of compassion that is now restoring her future.

This is more than a journey to school.
It is a declaration that trauma will not define destiny.
It is a statement that even after the jaws of death, life can still rise.
It is proof that no child should walk alone after tragedy.

Through love, presence, and unwavering commitment, the Foundation has turned survival into a second chance—replacing fear with faith, and pain with purpose.

Thank you, Mrs Munowenyu.
Your hearts have become shelter for the vulnerable and wings for the broken.

May God continue to bless you as you restore dignity, rewrite stories, and remind the nation that compassion saves lives.
