Dear Everyone,
As we approach the joyous season of Christmas, a time traditionally filled with giving and cherishing moments with family and loved ones, it’s essential to reflect on those who may not have this opportunity. Many homeless children and orphans face this time of year without the warmth of a family or a nurturing home.
In the spirit of giving, I kindly urge each of you to consider visiting local children’s homes. Your presence, even if just for a short while, can bring immense joy and hope to these kids who often feel forgotten. Your time, a simple conversation, or a small gift can make a significant difference in their lives.
As we reflect on the teachings of Christ, remember the words from Matthew 25:36:
“I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
In this passage, Jesus emphasizes the importance of serving others, especially those who are vulnerable and marginalized. The righteous will ask Him when they performed these acts of kindness, and He will respond:
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
This Christmas, let’s embody this spirit of charity and compassion. Let us commit to spreading kindness and love to those in need.
Thank you for taking the time to reflect on this matter. Together, we can create a brighter holiday for those who need it most.
God bless you all!
