Just In🔵:

Yesterday, the Chapter Chairperson Narshon T Kohlo on behalf of the students, issued a firm statement regarding the water crisis issue that has gripped the University of Zimbabwe students living in campus accommodation. Notably, after issuing the statement, we have observed some improvements regarding the issue. As a student movement that advocates for student welfare, we will continue to follow up and closely monitor the situation as we believe that access to water is a basic human right!

UPDATE ON OUR PETITION FOR AVAILABILITY OF WATER AT BUS TERMINUS TOILETS.

Fellow distinguished academia of the University of Zimbabwe. Thank you for facilitating the effectiveness of this petition through your enthusiastic participation. We have successfully submitted our petition to The Manager for Support Services and the Dean of Students. We would also like to express our gratitude to the administration for being receptive to the students' need for improved hygienic conditions, particularly the Bus Terminus Toilets as evidenced by the taps which now have continuously running water as we now wait for the back-up water storage bins to also be installed.
